How To Make a Sports Championship Ring

'Man Blog Monday'

Great Video, Ey?  My favorite part is the catchy soundtrack.  Following my first viewing of this awesome how-to jewelry guide, I concluded that the making of these 2010 Stanley Cup Championship NHL rings was deserving of a second play. The intricate detailing of the hand crafted 14kt white gold rings, with 404 individually set marquis diamonds, pear-shaped emerald gemstones, and baguette style rubies make these Men's Rings intriguing and exquisitely appealing. As reported by the Chicago Tribune in 2010, these were the first NHL Championship Rings to be awarded to the Chicago Blackhawks since 1961. The responsibility for creating a majestic, masterful design was decreed to a committee selected by Rocky Wirtzspent, NHL Chicago Blackhawks majority owner and chairman of the board. The devoted committee met with Jonstens Ring-Makers several times throughout a six week period, perfecting the final outcome for the 2010 Stanley Cup Championship Rings, presented to the Chicago Blackhawks with each team member's name and number engraved. The final test was attributed to Rocky Wirtzspent reacting to the final Men's Ring design, which perpetuated a sigh of relief among committee members when the moment arrived.  Rocky made it no secret that he was, at the very least, abundantly impressed with the 2010 NHL Championship Rings.
