Amanda Thomas began creating the series of sultry, steam-punk sophisticate jewelry of LUV AJ in 2005.  In a few short years, the brilliantly bold designs within the LUV AJ Jewelry Line have been popping up in boutiques and retailers throughout the Country.  The demand for these incredibly strong, yet seemingly sentimental adornments has experienced a major surge in the recent months. The heavy-metal, spiked signature pieces, like that of the ‘Bronzed Spike Bracelet’, with a brass and bronze contrast of heavy, woven metals and a shine-enhancing texture, have been embraced enthusiastically by celebrities on the West and East Coast.  The rapidly-expanding celebrity fan club includes the recently wed Kim Kardashian, Nicole Richie, Designer Whitney Port and Actress, Vanessa Hudgens.  These scream-statement pieces are worth celebrating, and are clearly here to stay.  (yay!)   About those Sharpened Pencils...

Karolin Felix Dream

The brains, and beauty behind that intensely elemental collection of Karolin Felix Dream lies behind the bright, wide eyes you see below.  A southern Poland native, Karolin describes within her Etsy ‘Fresh Shop’ Feature how much she ‘fancied’ playing around as Little Red Riding Hood.  Ironically enough, this probably spawned my most admired pieces among her collection. With creativity in her blood, and heart, and will, following at attempt at the Suburban Architect Avenue of life, Which would have proved successful, as this gal doesn’t seem able to fail, Karolin’s creative roots pulled her back to where she had belonged. With the help of her supportive and artistically driven family, KarolinFelixDream was brought to fruition. With just as much admiration for nature as she admits for technology, the works of KarolinFelixDream are a tranquil, fun and charismatic portrayal of wearable fantasies. “I also love my wooden pendants, made from a rare, deformed juniper branch. Nature is amazing. Normally the juniper branch is quite plain, but in the Black Forest anything can happen; there’s more fungi, different shapes, shadows, and deformed wood.” –Karolin

We End Today's Exhibit With Geometry.

Apollonio Necklace, ‘Geometry Series’ by Après Ski:

http://apreski.bigcartel.com/product/apollonio

"Apollonio is the second of the necklaces presented in "Geometry," the new series of Après Ski inspired by the study of the properties of basic geometric figures.  This necklace takes on the role the square to position itself as a centerpiece, accompanied only by a flat bar of gilded brass and ceramic beads in bright green water. The chain is gold brass and is composed of thin rectangular links." -
