One Chance In A Million

(finding the perfect ring from the collection of diamond engagement rings) I’m lucky. I’ll be the first to admit it. My fiancé is one of the…you name it, coolest, greatest, most wonderful, understanding…whatever adjective you want, she meets it and beats it. And I’m not saying that just because she’s my fiancée. She has always been thoughtful and funny, from our second date destination to how we spent our second anniversary together as a dating couple. I knew that was going to happen so I made sure I could at least match her that night. The only way to do that was to find the one perfect diamond engagement ring. If you don’t believe me, you can talk to the sales associate at the jewelry store I went to. I asked to see so many diamond engagement rings it was funny. Seriously, it was. We got to laughing about it, I was so “well, like that but a little more” or “that’s nice, but what about this?” But he took his time and showed me each ring I asked for, until he finally showed me three in a row. The diamond engagement rings that he was showing me as part of the collections at first didn’t seem like anything special, but then I noticed how great it looked partnered up not only with the diamond wedding band I would be giving her on our big day, but also the one that would be on my finger. So much attention was paid to these styles that I realized if I seemingly paid as much – a kind of one, two punch of engagement and wedding ring – it would be pretty special. She absolutely loves the engagement ring. In fact, the biggest problem is now she wants to be part of deciding on what kind of engagement rings we’re going to have. I’m doing my best to convince her I wasn’t just lucky when I bought the engagement ring. So far so good, and I’m sure when she sees the diamond wedding bands she’ll be glad she trusted me.
